A new development in northern Algeria has taken delivery of two Raimondi MRT159 topless tower cranes. The MRT159, first debuted in June 2016 at Turkey’s popular ANKOMAK, continues to prove extremely popular for builders, fleet rental companies, and contractors.
“The two new Raimondi MRT159s were sold and delivered directly to the contractor; the client was very pleased with the model’s versatility and capabilities so the early consultations moved quite quickly,” said Wael Hasan, Commercial Director, Raimondi Middle East.
“Both cranes onsite are configured the same. Many of the MRT159 parts are preassembled at Raimondi headquarters, and all removable installation parts arrive with small ropes to prevent falling, so the erection process was safely and smoothly executed,” he said.
The two machines are freestanding at 45m with a jib length of 50m and a maximum lifting capacity of 8tn.
The MRT159, which represents one of the Raimondi most popular models, arrived onsite with all parts preassembled, ropes passed, and rope connections installed facilitating site operations.
