Official Raimondi agent of France, GP Mat International, erected a Raimondi MRT159 topless tower crane with a 65 meter jib over a period of one day in Rochefort-du-Gard, France. “Our client, French contractor Logibat, has been a close partner to GP Mat for 10 years now. We were pleased to be able to present the right crane that would meet their site requirements,” said Frank Torchard, President, GP Mat. “Two GP Mat install specialists were onsite to facilitate a smooth and easy erection process. We regularly support our clients’ jobsites by providing team members to meet any technical need that might arise,” he continued.

Logibat, currently renting three Raimondi cranes from the GP Mat fleet, is also about to purchase an additional MRT159 and has sights on acquiring another Raimondi tower crane in the near future. The Raimondi MRT159, shown here equipped with the Deluxe R16 Crane Cabin, has proven particularly popular with fleet rental companies as it arrives onsite with all parts preassembled, ropes passed, and rope connections installed. With a tip load of 1,650 kg for a maximum load of 10 tonnes and a tip load of 1,815 kg for a maximum load of 8 tonnes, the MRT159 has more jib configurations available and a selection of two different winches with respective powers of 30 kW and 45 Kw.

GP Mat, a valued partner of Raimondi Cranes since 1996, has an extensive fleet of cranes to meet a variety of jobsite requirements. Adept at large scale jobsites, GP Mat’s strong history of repeat clients is attributed to the company’s professionalism and high levels of service.
